Vanessa is an experienced and inspiring dance teacher, passionate performer, and former studio owner from Melbourne, Australia, with a lifelong background in the performing arts. She has trained in dance, drama, gymnastics, and yoga since childhood and has taught across London, San Francisco, and New York. Vanessa holds an IDTA Associate teaching qualification with Distinction in Freestyle Dance, along with certifications in Ballet Barre and Yoga, and she specialises in belly dance alongside teaching contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and Bollywood. After founding and directing Omnida Studios in North London, she developed a full programme of classes, coached students from beginner to advanced levels, and choreographed numerous showcases and festival and community performances. As a performer, she has appeared in the London 2012 Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies, danced for Persian pop stars Andy and Kouros at Shepherds Bush Empire, and performed with several of London’s leading belly dance and Bollywood companies. Known for her warm, encouraging teaching style and strong technical foundation, Vanessa is committed to creating inclusive, joyful classes where dancers of all ages can develop their skills, confidence, and love of movement.
